Dana enjoys lighthearted and encouraging stories that lift your spirits. Playful and funny are enjoyable especially for young readers.

Dana draws inspiration from the illustration styles of Richard Scarry and Chris VanDusen.

Inspiration

Spending time in the location I'm writing about, and drawing allows me to gain inspiration. Here are some pictures that inspired the book, Are There Any Fish in Fishtown? The drawing is a rough sketch I did for one of the pages of the book.
